About

My name is Fabio “Huwy” Huwyler. I was born in 1987 and spent the first 18 years of my life in the canton of Zug. Today, I live in Bern, where I work as a social pedagogue.

I’ve always been drawn to media and emerging technologies. I still remember experimenting with my very first video camera and the countless little “projects” I created—websites, programs, ideas that often existed simply because I was curious to see if something could be built. That curiosity continues to shape how I work and think today.

Because of my energetic, restless nature—or perhaps because of ADHD, which was officially diagnosed in 2023, at the age of 36—I’ve never stayed with one place or one project for very long. That’s unlikely to change, and I’ve learned to see it less as a flaw and more as part of how I move through the world: exploring, connecting, and starting new things.

I try to live my life with a sense of sonder—the awareness that every person I pass has a life as complex and vivid as my own—and with a minimalist mindset. I’m drawn to reducing noise, possessions, and expectations, even though that balance works better some days than others. Minimalism, for me, isn’t about perfection, but about creating enough space to breathe, think, and feel.

I’ve been married to my husband for over 20 years. Family matters to me in a grounded way as well: my mother is still an important person in my life, someone who has deeply influenced me and continues to be a source of connection and perspective.

This space reflects all of that—my work, my curiosity, my values, and my contradictions. It’s not about having everything figured out, but about staying open, intentional, and human.
